Literary writing for hotels, destinations and neighbourhoods that want a voice, not a brochure.
A hotel is not 'nestled in the heart' of anything. A neighbourhood is more than its pin code. A destination does not become desirable because a brochure used the word 'vibrant' six times.
I write literary language for places that want to be remembered with a voice of their own: room stories, neighbourhood narratives, arrival texts, in-space fragments and long-form place writing. Hospitality already invests obsessively in scent, light, linen and sound. Language is also part of the room. It should not be the cheapest object in it.
How we work
- You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
- We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
- I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 3–5 weeks after brief and research access. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.
Scope & confidentiality
Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.
What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.
