The founding story underneath the pitch deck, written as a story rather than a timeline.

Most founding stories die on a slide that says 'In 2022, we noticed a gap.' The real story is rarely a gap. It is usually an irritation that would not leave, a badly timed decision, a repeated failure, a conversation, a private obsession or one founder seeing what others had learned to ignore.

I find that story and write it with narrative shape, then distil it into language that can strengthen the deck without becoming theatre. Investors may buy the economics. Human beings still remember the reason someone began.

How we work

  1. You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
  2. We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
  3. I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 3–4 weeks. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.

Scope & confidentiality

Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.

What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.

Before you commission

The practical details, without making you decode the poetry.

The literary opening tells you what the service feels like. These answers tell you exactly how it works, what is delivered and where the boundaries sit.

What is this service?

A founder origin story that finds the human tension and decisive choices beneath the chronological milestones in a pitch deck.

Who is it for?

Founders and organisations needing a credible narrative for websites, culture, media, investors or institutional memory.

What will I receive?

A core origin narrative plus any scoped adaptations for website, pitch, culture or media use.

How does the interview or briefing work?

The founder, co-founders and selected early witnesses are interviewed to separate remembered myth, verifiable fact and the moments that changed the direction of the company.

What information or material should I prepare?

Milestones, early documents, photographs, stakeholder access, sensitive facts, audience requirements and one final approval owner.

How long does it take?

The current typical delivery window shown for this service is 3–4 weeks. Timing begins after the agreed interview and source material are complete.

What does it cost?

The current listed fee is ₹50,000. 50% to begin. Any change in length, research, number of interviews, urgency, design or commercial rights is agreed before additional work begins.

How many revisions are included?

One included. Revision is for factual, tonal or emphasis adjustments within the accepted brief; a different audience, form or central direction may require a new scope.

How is confidentiality handled?

Private material is used only for the agreed commission. RDC Unsaid does not publish, quote, reuse or turn the work into a portfolio example without explicit written permission.

Who owns and may use the final writing?

The finished work is supplied for the use agreed in the commission. Personal sharing is normally part of that purpose; public, commercial, adaptation and attribution rights should be recorded in the accepted scope or agreement.

When might this not be the right service?

The work does not invent heroism, conceal material facts or turn an ordinary chronology into unsupported performance claims.
