A private letter, vow or proposal, written for one person in a language only two of you will ever understand.
There are moments after which life is divided into before and after. A proposal. A vow. A letter placed in someone's hands when ordinary sentences would feel almost insulting.
Tell me the history, the private jokes, the fractures, the details nobody else would recognise. I will write the piece so it belongs unmistakably to the two of you. Not grand for the sake of grandeur. Precise enough to make one person know, without doubt, that nobody else on earth could have received these words.
How we work
- You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
- We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
- I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 5–7 working days. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.
Scope & confidentiality
Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.
What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.
