Grief is a terrible time to be asked to become eloquent. Yet families are handed a blank page and expected to reduce an entire human life to a few hurried paragraphs. You do not have to.
Tell me how they laughed, what irritated them, what they always ordered, whom they protected, what the room felt like when they entered it. I will write the words with dignity, detail and restraint. Not a polished list of achievements. A human being, made briefly present again when the people who loved them need language most.
How we work
- You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
- We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
- I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 3–5 working days. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.
Scope & confidentiality
Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.
What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.
