12 / 30  ·  Private, scarce & signature work

One poem, one owner, commissioned, written once and never sold again.

Most poems continue travelling after they are written. This one does not. It is commissioned for you, written once, and removed from the public economy of future sales and editions under the exclusivity terms we agree. The subject may be a person, a life, a wound, a private mythology or something for which no existing poem has ever felt close enough.

You are not paying for a page. You are asking for one original piece of literature to end its journey with you. Scarcity is not decoration here. It is the promise.

How we work

  1. You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
  2. We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
  3. I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 14–21 working days. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.

Scope & confidentiality

Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.

What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.

Before you commission

The practical details, without making you decode the poetry.

The literary opening tells you what the service feels like. These answers tell you exactly how it works, what is delivered and where the boundaries sit.

What is this service?

A single commissioned poem written for one owner and not offered for resale as another edition.

Who is it for?

Collectors and individuals marking a singular person, relationship, memory or private milestone with an exclusive original work.

What will I receive?

One original poem in the agreed language and form, accompanied by the exclusivity and usage terms set out in the commission agreement.

How does the interview or briefing work?

A deeper discovery conversation establishes the emotional centre, imagery, personal symbols and degree of privacy required for the poem.

What information or material should I prepare?

The story, relevant memories, names or private symbols, language preference, intended use and any physical-edition requirements.

How long does it take?

The current typical delivery window shown for this service is 14–21 working days. Timing begins after the agreed interview and source material are complete.

What does it cost?

The current listed fee is ₹25,000. 50% to begin. Any change in length, research, number of interviews, urgency, design or commercial rights is agreed before additional work begins.

How many revisions are included?

One included. Revision is for factual, tonal or emphasis adjustments within the accepted brief; a different audience, form or central direction may require a new scope.

How is confidentiality handled?

Private material is used only for the agreed commission. RDC Unsaid does not publish, quote, reuse or turn the work into a portfolio example without explicit written permission.

Who owns and may use the final writing?

The finished work is supplied for the use agreed in the commission. Personal sharing is normally part of that purpose; public, commercial, adaptation and attribution rights should be recorded in the accepted scope or agreement.

When might this not be the right service?

Exclusivity does not automatically transfer every copyright or commercial right; those terms should be agreed explicitly before commissioning.
