Give me a photograph. I return the emotions behind it in words.
A photograph keeps the light, the clothes, the faces. It rarely keeps what was happening underneath. Send me one image and tell me as much or as little as you can bear to.
I will look past the pose, past the obvious caption, and write the emotional life of that moment back to you. Not a description of the photograph. The part of it you have been carrying without language. Some pictures deserve more than to sit in a gallery and wait to be forgotten.
How we work
- You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
- We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
- I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 5–7 working days. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.
Scope & confidentiality
Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.
What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.
