One deep conversation, transformed into a literary portrait of the person you actually are.
For ninety minutes, we talk beyond the biography people usually offer strangers. Not just where you studied, what you built or whom you married, but what you envy, what you repeat, which version of yourself you abandoned and which memory still changes temperature when you touch it. Then I leave the conversation and write.
What returns is a literary portrait of the person I heard underneath the résumé and the rehearsed stories. You may agree with every line or argue with some of them. Indifference is the one outcome I am not interested in.
How we work
- You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
- We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
- I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 3–4 weeks after the conversation. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.
Scope & confidentiality
Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.
What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.
