Tell me where life feels tangled. I return a long, honest essay about what may actually be going on.
Sometimes you do not need advice. You need someone to look at the entire knot without being frightened by its size. Tell me where life has become confused, repetitive, impossible to name.
I will listen for the patterns, the contradictions and the sentence hiding underneath all the noise, then return a long literary essay that holds the situation up to better light. This is not therapy and it will not diagnose you. It is something rarer than a motivational answer: sustained, intelligent attention given to the story you may have been telling yourself.
How we work
- You reach out. Share the photograph, the person, the situation or the fragment - as much or as little as you can bear to. There is no correct brief.
- We agree the scope. Before anything is written, we settle what the piece is, its length and its intention. The commission is confirmed with a 50% advance.
- I write. The work is made for you alone, delivered within 10–14 working days. One considered revision is included so the words land exactly where they should.
Scope & confidentiality
Every commission begins with an agreed scope - what will be written, its length, its tone and its purpose - so there are no surprises on either side. Nothing is begun before that scope and the advance are settled together.
What you share stays private. Your story, your materials and the finished writing are treated as yours alone and are never published, resold or used elsewhere without your explicit, written consent. Where a commission is anonymous by design, that anonymity is protected without exception.
